One of Canon's last 35 mm compact cameras, the 2003 Sure Shot 80u in America (Prima Zoom 80u in Europe, Autoboy N80 in Japan) from 2003 integrates a 2x zoom in a compact silver case. The lens is a 38–80 mm f/4.7–9.4 (6 elements in 6 groups, including an aspherical lens element) with a focusing range of 0.6 m to infinity (close-up mode: 0.45 m).
